First Cross-border E-commerce B2B Export Business Opened in Lianyungang

In the morning of September 28, the first cross-border e-commerce B2B export business of Lianyungang was successfully checked and cleared by the cross-border e-commerce supervision center of Lianyun District, marking the official opening of "9810" export business in Lianyungang. Cross-border enterprises can now carry out comprehensive cross-border business and the development of cross-border e-commerce industry in our city has leaped to a new height.

Since China's (Lianyungang) cross-border e-commerce pilot zone was approved in March this year, Lianyun District follows "Belt and Road" initiative and relies on the advantages of the Lianyungang area of China (Jiangsu) Free Trade Zone, and constantly advance the development and innovation of cross-border e-commerce. The District remain committed to promoting the reform of cross-border e-commerce trade facilitation, exploring new formats and new modes of cross-border e-commerce in order to build a cross-border e-commerce functional cluster with global competitiveness.

It is reported that this cross-border "9810" export package consists of 181 pieces, with a value of $32,000 US dollars. Lianyungang Gaoshen Trading Co., Ltd. completed the "9810" cross-border e-commerce export data declaration through Lianyungang Diandiantong public service platform. The export products included clothing, shoes, hats, household goods and other competitive products, which were inspected and released by the express supervision section of Lianyungang Customs, and then sent to Milton Keynes Overseas Warehouse in Britain.

The completion of the first cross-border e-commerce B2B export is a new starting point for the transformation and upgrading of the city's foreign trade. The cross-border e-commerce supervision center will continue to promote the development of cross-border e-commerce, expand and strengthen the cross-border industry, combine Lianyungang Area of the Jiangsu Pilot Free Trade Zone with the comprehensive cross-border e-commerce pilot zone so as to set a leading and exemplary role for the development of cross-border e-commerce mode of our city.
