Recently, the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office held the 2024 Chinese New Year Celebration Party for foreigners and foreign language talents in Lianyungang, inviting more than 20 foreign friends, international students and representatives from the foreign language talent pool to gather together, exchange blessings, and relive friendship.

English song Hey Jude in chorus, solo Marseille in French, dubbing for American movie Zootopia, Korean drama The Tale of Chun Hyang... The atmosphere at the gathering was lively, with a variety of highlights and applause from the audience. Performances in multiple languages including Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Russian, French and Kazakh are given with various forms of expression such as songs, dances, plays, dubbing and recitation illumining the stage. Elites from different countries, industries and fields gather together to showcase themselves in the center of the stage, and jointly explore a new international cultural exchange model of "harmony in diversity, hand in hand led by the heart, and painting great beauty together".

It is understood that in recent years, in order to further enhance the sense of identification and belonging of foreigners in Lianyungang, the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office has organized a series of activities for foreigners in Lianyungang, including the essay competition "Jiangsu in Foreigners’ Works", the photography competition "Foreign Friends in Lianyungang, Jiangsu", and etc., to better enable foreigners to perceive Lianyungang, Jiangsu and China, and showcase the unique charm of Lianyungang city.
