Recently, it was learned from the construction site of Lianyungang Station of Lianyungang-Xuzhou high-speed railway that it was planned to enter the static acceptance state of the whole line later this month, which marks that the main construction of Lianyungang high-speed railway will have been basically completed by then.

According to reports, the construction of 500-meter long track laying in the construction of Lianyungang-Xuzhou high speed railway was completed in mid September. In accordance with the company's deployment requirements of "fighting against epidemic, guaranteeing growth, fast work and production resumption, working energetically for 100 days ", the project department organizes and carries out the construction work and labor competition activities of "fighting against epidemic, completion on time, full engagement in construction". The majority of the construction staff takes two shift operation mode in 24-hour to ensure safety and quality and strive for the construction progress.

At present, the whole line consists of 6 stations, including Lianyungang Station and EMU storage yard, Donghai Station, Xinyi South Station, Pizhou East Station, Daxu South Station and Houmazhuang Station, with a total of 32.24 km of track laying, which is under intensive construction day and night. Railway builders are working hard to build a high-quality railway with full enthusiasm.

It is known that after the completion of this railway, the location advantages of Lianyungang as the intersection of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st century Maritime Silk Road will be further highlighted. The role of Lianyungang as the eastern end of the new Eurasian Continental Bridge will be further strengthened. Lianyungang's role as a convenient and accessible port for the central and western regions and Central Asian countries will be fully developed. It will be of great significance to further promote the building of "Belt and Road" and the National Demonstration Area Cooperation among China’s Eastern, Central and Western Regions.
