On April 1st, the ERP+PLM (an intelligent system) project of Lianyungang Ocean Fluid Loading and Unloading Equipment Co., Ltd. was officially launched, marking the completion of the full lifecycle digital transformation of product design, research and development, and project management for the leading marine equipment enterprise Ocean Fluid in Lianyungang. Since the beginning of this year, the marine industry in Lianyungang has been vigorously implementing the strategy of strengthening the city through the marine industry. Shipping routes relying on the sea have been opened up one by one rapidly, and good news from the deep blue ocean has spread in Lianyungang, adding blue power to the high-quality development of Lianyungang and the new practice of Chinese-style modernization in Lianyungang.

Lianyungang has a continental coastline of 195.88 kilometers and a sea area of 7,516 square kilometers. In recent years, our city has accelerated the development of the marine industry. The construction of the Zhongfu Lianzhong Composites Industrial Park has been completed, forming an annual production capacity of 100 sets of offshore wind turbine blades; the first marine food quality inspection center in the province has passed inspection and has been approved as a provincial graduate workstation and a provincial marine food engineering research center; the first phase of the high-value processing and utilization of Antarctic krill biology with an annual output of 600 tons of krill oil production line has been put into operation in the Antarctic Krill Industrial Park, and the protein peptide production line has started preliminary work, which has been approved as a municipal engineering technology research center. Nowadays, Lianyungang is unlocking the treasure trove of marine resources, and deep-sea cages are farming and fishing to build a "blue granary"; the port is working around the clock to help the "Belt and Road" cargo transport connect rivers and reach the sea "chain" globally; deep-sea technology science Taihu Laboratory Lianyungang Center and other new marine scientific research platforms are being built to activate the blue vitality of Lianyungang.

Modern marine industries boost confidence. The ocean is a strategic location for high-quality development. Since the beginning of this year, based on the endowment of marine resources and the foundation of marine industry development, our city has strengthened and optimized marine industries such as marine equipment, marine tourism, and marine transportation, while enhancing supporting guarantees such as marine-related infrastructure, marine technology, and marine ecology. In the next step, our city will implement the "3620" cultivation project, selectively cultivating 3 marine industry characteristic parks, 6 marine innovation platforms, and 20 leading enterprises. We will accelerate the construction of the Municipal Marine Economic Industrial Park, Marine Equipment Industrial Park, and Antarctic Krill Industrial Park, support the exploration of equipment-based fisheries such as large-scale aquaculture vessels and deep-sea aquaculture cages, and start construction on major projects such as the 300,000-ton channel expansion project, making the blue ocean a new engine for economic growth in Lianyungang.

Marine scientific research strength shows vigor. The Lianyungang-registered deep-sea green intelligent technology test ship has begun to close, and Lianyungang JARI Automation Co., Ltd.'s "LNG transportation and transfer system" has been selected as a key new product in the province. Scientific research carriers such as the series of experimental platforms at the Taihu Laboratory Lianyungang Center for Deep-sea Technology Science are accelerating construction... Since the beginning of this year, our city has produced a series of marine scientific and technological achievements, giving us more confidence in pursuing our deep blue dreams. Currently, our city fully leverages the roles of Jiangsu Ocean University, 716 Institute, 702 Institute, Provincial Marine Innovation Center, etc., to enhance innovation capabilities in the marine field, accelerate the local transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and build a high-level marine science and technology innovation system. In the future, our city will leverage key scientific and technological platforms, scientific research institutes, and universities to attract talents, encouraging cooperation between enterprises and universities to cultivate and introduce marine talents. It is expected that in the near future, the giant ship carrying Lianyungang's high-level self-reliance and innovation achievements will sail into the deep blue, laying a solid foundation for the development of Lianyungang's marine economy.
