Agricultural Exchange&Cooperation and “Belt and Road”countries Two-way Investment Promotion Conference was held in Lianyungang in the morning of September 18th.

The conference pointed out that the agricultural trade and international cooperation have achieved remarkable results and become the focus and highlight of the "Belt and Road" building since the initiative was introduced 7 years ago. As a traditional agricultural city, Lianyungang has taken the initiative to strengthen the strategic docking of agricultural cooperation with countries along the "Belt and Road", jointly promoted the high-quality development of agricultural modernization and made a series of remarkable achievements in creating local agricultural characteristics, shaping agricultural brands and forging agricultural quality. Lianyungang is willing to build information sharing channels with governments, business associations and enterprises, deepen agricultural trade and investment cooperation, build up an agricultural cooperation system with dominant technologies and key products and work hand in hand to promote agricultural cooperation in a wider range, higher level and deeper level. We will 　 base on the China's (Jiangsu) Pilot Free Trade Zone Lianyungang Area and the national agricultural opening and cooperation experimental zone to further expand trade in agricultural products, optimize the business environment in the agricultural sector, and strengthen exchanges and sharing of agricultural scientific and technological achievements. With consistent efforts, we aim to add more Lianyungang elements to the "Belt and Road" agricultural international exchanges and cooperation, provide better Lianyungang programs and contribute more Lianyungang strength.
